We are happy to share with you a new enhancement for Primo multitenant customers:
As part of our roadmap to extend the Primo multitenant capabilities, the local index in Primo multitenant environments is being published to users twice a day (instead of once a day so far) as of last week.
For us at RMIT this means updates to bibliographic records in Alma will be updated in Primo twice daily, eather than once per day.
This allows libraries to present users with the latest content, in a more frequent manner. Furthermore, librarians can now test modifications to normalization rules in a timelier fashion.
This infrastructure enhancement will allow us to further improve the index update frequency in the future.
